It is also ideal for those who like tranquility and looking for a place to sit and read or even write because of its inspiring nature. This pier also serves as a point of embarkation of maritime taxis to go to the southern beaches.
Los Arcos Marine Park
The popular Arcos de Puerto Vallarta located south of the city are small granite islands that protrude from the sea surface. The Arches owe their name to the arch figure of their rock formations. The largest of them is 25 meters high, and even boats can go under it. The smaller arches are the perfect place for snorkeling and diving, as they can swim through them and immerse themselves in the numerous caves and tunnels that the nature of these reefs has formed over time. “Los Arcos” is a must stop, but you can also rent a panga (boat) that offers you the necessary equipment to practice snorkeling from Los Muertos dock or in Mismaloya.
